Okay! Okay! I am on a roll here, people. I also have been reading too much Barbara Park lately. My next random slip of paper is my list of Anime movies or series that I at least want to see, if not own. This is compiled from other people's lists and descriptions that interested me. We have Metropolis, but I haven't seen it for years. I was highly attracted to the style of the characters with the big, round toes of their shoes poking out from under their pants.
Final Fantasy Spirits Within (if I'm thinking of the right thing) was the first movie my husband and I ever saw in the theater together, back when we first started dating. I would actually like to see it again to check out the computer animation. It was new at the time and we were so impressed with how real everything looked. I also recall that there was talk of making the female lead in that movie into a kind of virtual actress. They would use the same model, but put her in different roles in different movies, just like we do with real live actresses. I thought it was a neat idea.
